Bold Enough to Obey

Bold Enough to Obey

Bold Enough to Obey

When we read about Moses, we often focus on the miracles—the plagues, the Red Sea, all the big moments. But one of the most powerful parts of his story is something simple:

Moses kept showing up.

Pharaoh wasn’t just any leader. He was the most powerful man in Egypt, surrounded by guards, officials, and authority. Most people wouldn’t dare approach him. It would’ve been intimidating… and honestly, dangerous.

Yet God told Moses, “Go.”

Not to send a message. Not to wait until he felt ready. God told him to stand before Pharaoh and say:

“Let my people go.”

That kind of obedience takes boldness.

And what’s important to remember is Moses didn’t go because he felt fearless. He went because he trusted God more than he feared Pharaoh.

Sometimes we think boldness means confidence. But real boldness is obeying God even when you feel nervous, unqualified, or unsure.

Pharaoh had power… but Moses had God.

And when God is with you, you can walk into intimidating places and still stand firm—because you’re not standing alone.

So if God is calling you to something uncomfortable, don’t wait until you feel ready.

Just obey.

Because when God sends you, He will sustain you.
